The
LCard is the official identification card of Limestone College.
It is issued
to all members of the College Community and is required
for identification and access to essential campus services. It
also
offers a convenient account for making purchases around campus.
All students, faculty, and staff at Limestone College are
required to have an LCard.
Students should report to the Office of
Student Services on the 2nd Floor of the Dixie Lodge Building
between 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. to acquire
the new LCard.
Residential
students should immediately notify
the Public Safety Office in person, or by calling 864-488-8344
to report the loss of their card. Public Safety will deactivate
the lost card’s door access rights. To receive a replacement
card, visit the Office of Student Services on the 2nd
Floor of the Dixie Lodge
Building. There is a card replacement fee of $10 for replacing
the card more than once.
Non-resident
students can go directly to the Office of Student Services to
receive a replacement card.
If you have a
balance in your LCash or meal plan accounts, suspend your
accounts
online, or by calling
1-877-LCARD45 (522-7345) Mon. – Fri. 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. EST
to prevent
unauthorized use.

How does
LCash work?
LCash is
a cashless, prepaid spending account on your LCard that is
accepted as a form of payment on the Limestone College campus.
Unused balances roll over semester-to-semester and year-to-year.
You must add value to your account before using your LCash to
make purchases. You must have sufficient value available in
your LCash account to pay for each transaction. Each time you
use your LCash account, the amount of the transaction will be
deducted from your account. You may not spend more value than
you have.

What is my
LCash Account Number?
Your 16-digit LCash
account number is located on the front of your LCard in the lower-left hand
corner.

What is my Student ID Number?
Your Student ID Number is located on the
front of your LCard.
Your Student ID Number is not your social security number.
It is a
unique number that is 10 digits in length.

What's the
difference between my Meal Plan and
LCash account?
Both
accounts are accessed by your LCard.
Residential students are required to participate in the Meal
Plan. Payment is made at the beginning of each semester along
with tuition and other fees.
LCash is a
prepaid spending account offering a safe and convenient way to
make purchases around campus.
You or your parents must
add value to your LCash account before
using it for purchases. Value in your LCash account rolls over
from semester-to-semester and from year-to-year.

When is value
added to LCash available?
Funds transferred by debit/credit card and
cash are available instantly. Check deposits are available on the
business day received. If
a check is returned to us by your financial institution for insufficient
funds, the deposit will be reversed from your LCash account and a
Returned Payment/Check fee will be assessed.
If the Returned Payment/Check fee creates a
negative balance in your account, you will be contacted to make another
payment to the account.

How do I make a
purchase with LCash?
LCash works much like a debit or credit card.
Just present your LCard for payment to the attendant
at the register. Your card will be swiped in a terminal and the
transaction authorized. You will need to sign a printed receipt
of the approved transaction.

Where can I use
LCash?
LCash can be used at the Campus
Store, Dining Hall, Business Office and Lirbary. These can be identified by the
“Welcomed” sticker featuring the LCash logo.

How do I

Cardholder
suggestions are welcome and encouraged. Recommendations can be
sent via e-mail to
our
merchants@card-smith.com. Please include the name of the
location and why you would like to see them join the program.

Yes, it is
secured via 128 Bit SSL Encryption so you can manage your
account with confidence.

What if I forget
my user name or password?
Go to
LCash Cardholder Account Center. Under the Login button, click
[Forgot your username or password?] and follow the instructions.

What is the LCash
refund process?
You may request a refund of your LCash Account when you
graduate, withdraw, or leave Limestone College. Proof of
withdrawal or dismissal is required. Remaining value over $5.00
is eligible for a refund. Please be aware that if you owe a
balance on your student account, any value on your LCash will be
used to pay this balance. Any “holds” on your student account
must be settled before you can receive a refund. Your LCash
account will remain open until there has been 36 months of
inactivity on the card. At that time any remaining balance will
be withdrawn and the account will be closed. Any funds left in
your LCash account will be deposited into Limestone College’s
scholarship fund.

What happens if I swipe my card at a self-service location and the machine
does not work?
If the self-service machine does not work properly, you will not
be charged for the transaction. If for any reason you are
charged, please
email us
a refund request. Please include the location, date & time of
the transaction(s) in question.
